A two-hour workshop that will help you to define your family's values and mission statement.
One of the things I’m most passionate about is helping families define their values. Whether we're consciously aware of it or not, we inherited values from our childhood that deeply influence how we parent today. While some of those values may certainly be worthy of keeping, perhaps some of them we never truly identified with, or maybe we've outgrown some of them as we awaken to our own convictions on this parenting journey.
A two-hour workshop on learning how to support your child’s anxious thoughts
Whether it’s a monster under the bed, a new social situation, or fear about an upcoming piano recital, anxiety can be an incredible frustration for children. Raising a child who struggles with constant worrying is hard – for both the parent and the child. Reading The Opposite of Worry, by Lawrence Cohan, drastically changed the way I viewed anxiety in children - and myself - and equipped with me a playful new perspective that has radically changed how I support my children when anxiety arises.
